Hello Blog readers, Dolores here, (Teresa's Mom) it's my turn to report our travels through the west. We are continuing on. After a couple days of doing the "tourist" thing we were back to programs. Thursday eve. in Arlington, WA and Friday eve in Sheridan, OR. Sunday it was Brownsville and Halsey,OR. Folks in the west are lovely and very hospitable. We are meeting so many nice people. Thanks to my mom we were able to connect with my relatives near Portland. We met Don and Marty Herr and they treated us to lunch at Burgerville. What sweet relatives I have. They came to our service in Brownsville as well. Never expected to have relatives show on the West Coast. Don is my mom's cousin. Now Loren, he's the one who finds relatives wherever he goes.
Two programs in one day have a way of taking there toll... only this is only after the first one.
The best way to spend a Sunday afternoon, nevermind the Sunday clothes

At the Sea Lions Cave... Nicki loved seeing the "me-ows"
Side note: For those of you who know Myron and Janet Martin... we knew upon arriving that this is where he proposed to her. So the discussion in the cave was where exactly the spot was... and what it was about the atmosphere that inspired the moment. Some thought it was while viewing the above.... those of us who voted for the below were right.
Now, the Pacific Ocean. Here we are, and here we wish to stay...
Like your post Mom!Do we always look like that after our programs?? Surely not :).Here we want to stay indeed...
ReplyDeleteWell...so they got you posting! Looks great! Just waiting till you join us on Facebook or g-mail! Jerica really looks like she is enjoying herself on that horse! Enjoyed the history... or trivia about Myron and Janet! Keep up the good work!
